The interface allows communication between different bus systems. It is equipped with two terminals for the Bus called IN and OUT, on the front there are a C button and a Led that signals

  • The correct power supply and configuration (steady on)
  • Bus missing (off)
  • Missing or incorrect configuration (flashing)


The device can work in six different modes

  • Physical expansion: it allows to increase the total length of the Bus or to exceed the absorption limit of 1200 mA due to the single power supply.
  • Logical expansion: it allows to increase the number of devices of a system that is 175 (max 11 rooms defined with A = 0 ÷ 10 and 16 light points with PL = 0 ÷ 15). The address A = 0, PL = 0 is not allowed.
  • Burglar alarm/automation interface: allows these two systems to communicate with each other.
  • Public upright: allows supervision of alarm events on common parts of the video door phone system.
  • Galvanic separation: allows to interface two different functions (e.g. Sound diffusion and Automation).
  • Physical separation: groups the characteristics of the Physical Expansion mode and of the Galvanic Separation mode. It can be used for systems with devices predisposed for virtual configuration.

PLEASE NOTE: whatever the interface use mode is, it is necessary to keep in mind that the two Buses connected to it constitute, to all intents and purposes, two systems and, as such, they must comply with all sizing and installation rules.
