Pressure reducer with removable cartridge Caleffi F/F 3/4

The pressure reducer ensures a constant downstream pressure, even with changes in inlet pressure. This makes it ideal for protecting domestic plumbing systems from pressure surges, improving their longevity and efficiency.

Removable cartridge design

Thanks to the removable cartridge, maintenance of the reducer is quick and easy, reducing service time and associated costs. Anti-dezincification brass construction ensures reliable performance over time.

Operation with dispensing

When a utility is opened on the water supply, the spring force becomes prevalent over the opposing force of the diaphragm; the plug moves downward, opening the passage to water. The greater the demand for water, the greater will be the decrease in pressure under the diaphragm thus causing a higher passage of fluid through the plug.

Operation without dispensing

When the plug is fully closed, the downstream pressure rises and pushes the diaphragm upward. In this way the lotturator closes, preventing the passage of fluid and keeping the pressure constant at the set value. A slight difference to the advantage of the force exerted by the diaphragm against that exerted by the spring causes the device to close.

Main applications:

  • Residential and commercial plumbing systems

  • Protection of sanitary and heating devices

  • Pressure regulation for efficient water use
