Internal surface: The internal surface of the copper tube is shiny, clean and dry, which are fundamental characteristics of a product normally found on the market for industrial use. This peculiarity allows for an integrated system with the terminal elements of the system. The special internal cleanliness of SMISOL Clim is safeguarded by sealing the ends of each roll by means of plugs, directly during production.
Eccentricity: Eccentricity defines the distance between the center of the outer circumference and the center of the inner circumference, and is a key parameter for the folding operation. An eccentricity of zero is when the two centers coincide perfectly, while the presence of eccentricity results in a change in wall thickness the greater it is.
Outer protection: Closed-cell polyethylene foam sheathing with an average water vapor diffusion resistance factor value greater than 15000. The insulating sheathing is produced in full compliance with European EEC/EU Regulation 2037/2000, which requires the use of expanded insulating sheathing without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases that are harmful to health and the environment, and has a fire behavior of class BLs1d0 (EN 13501-1) and class 1 (Ministerial Decree 26/06/84).
