Uniquely, the Strip LED Dimmer is equipped with Operation Memory and Status Memory, the latter capable of maintaining the chosen brightness value even at the absence and return of the 230Vac mains supply voltage.
In Dimmer control, the type of brightness control of the connected single-color LED STRIPs is programmable as up and down with the search for the Maximum and Minimum brightness value, or cyclic up and down in Ramp adjustable from 0 to 20 sec. for example for decorative purposes or Christmas decorations.
Equipped with a double Dip Switch DSW can be programmed in one of the above 6 control possibilities either in the MASTER version for single use or in the synchronized MULTI MASTER version and either in the MASTER + SLAVE version thus able to infinitely expand its potential for Synchronized control for single-color LED STRIP dimming.
In the Master Slave system, synchronization of the various Slave Dimmers with the command imposed by the Master Dimmer is achieved by connecting the various units with two wires: a negative potential wire and a SYN Synchronization wire extendable up to a maximum distance of 200 meters. A first TM Trimmer allows setting on the Master programmed Dimmer the adjustment of the Minimum anti-flicker brightness of the LEDs from 0 to 20% of the maximum value. A second Trimmer TR allows to adjust on the Master programmed Dimmer the On/Off Ramp from 0 to 20 sec. of the connected LED STRIPs. These two Trimmers act only on the Master programmed Dimmer and not on those programmed Slave Dimmers which will synchronize with the settings of the Master DIMMER for a homogeneous response in both the commands and the brightness levels of all the LED STRIPs thus connected.
This LED STRIP Dimmer is protected from reverse polarity on the Power IN supply, on the OUT connection of the STRIP LED B.T. load, on the OUT output load failure (OCP), on SYN Sync wire connection errors, and on the reverse polarity of the Control Signals. It is also protected from overvoltage above 48Vdc and under input voltage below 12Vdc, which causes it to shut down until normal power supply values are restored. It is also protected at the OUT output from overload (OLP) and Short Circuit (SCP) both temporary and persistent of the self-restoring type with a non-visible reset attempt every 2sec. at the end of which in conditions of returned normality the connected LED STRIPs turn on again maintaining in Memory the state of brightness prior to the event that caused its protections to intervene.
The SYN Digital Synchronism Signal has been designed to operate on connections up to long distances to ensure a wide expansion of the Master Slave System while maintaining a perfect Synchronism of the Slave Dimmer elements connected to the Master Dimmer with a system of self-regeneration of its potential and detection with self-correction of data transmission errors.
