The terminal lug of the F-series are made from copper tape ETP, annealed and protected on the surface by tinning electrolyte.
The annealing process optimizes the structural features of the material, which allows a compression easier and ensures the use of the lug in the presence of mechanical stresses of various nature. The graining inside of the collar improves the contact with the conductor, increasing the tightness of the traction
The F-series offers obvious advantages: the unique internal shaping of the blouse insulator, which is in the form of a funnel, is designed so that matching of the step represented by the collar of the lug and thus allow an easy introduction of the conductor. It is not more necessary, therefore, to intervene on the conductor to ricompattarne the elementary wires, which generally tend to strefolarsi after having removed the insulation; this results in time-saving in wiring. The entire section of the conductor is affected by the compression, thereby achieving a reliable connection both from an electrical point of view the mechanical.
The lugs are made from electrolytic copper Cu-ETP CWOO4A according to the UNI EN 13599, are annealed and protected by tin plating, thickness min. 3µm.
