The M710-CZ input module enables interfacing a conventional sensor zone, with a two-wire connection, to an analog LOOP.
This module is compatible with NOTIFIER analog control panels.
The module controls the conventional zone, transmitting all information about it (normal, open/short, or alarm status), to the control panel. Power to the interface module and the conventional zone sensors can come directly from the communication loop or from an external power supply. In case external power supplies are not used, it is important to consider the higher power consumption from the Communication Loop. It will then be necessary to consult the installation manual of the central unit to check the parameters. When conventional zone power is derived from an external power supply, the Analog Communication Loop, via the M710-CZ module, remains isolated from both the conventional zone and the power supply.
ADDRESSING: The module address is selectable via two rotary decade switches on the module. The selectors are on the front or side of the module. A screwdriver can be used to move the rotary switches and select the desired address on the front or side of the module.
Advantages:
- The device can be installed on the wall in special M200E-SMB enclosure, on DIN rail via M200E-DIN adapter, or on panel via M200E-PMB.
- It is also possible to exclude the short-circuit isolator via terminal block connection.
- Suitable for connecting conventional detectors with AM series addressable control panels. CPR certified in accordance with EN-54 parts 17 and 18.
- Can be powered externally or directly from loop.
- Equipped with a tri-color LED, rotary switches for addressing and a Plug and Play terminal block to simplify wiring.
