Power over Ethernet (PoE) is typically limited to a 100 meter (328 ft) range due to cable capacity. For PoE networking that covers large distances, the GP-101ET PoE+ extension unit is the perfect device that can increase capacity by an additional 100 meters (328 ft). It is a 1-port Gigabit PoE extension unit with plug and play installation that requires no configuration or extra power supply and acts as an innovative and cost-effective PoE repeater that can extend data and power for an additional 100 meters. Extend your network for PD (Powered Device) such as WLAN access points, network cameras, IP phones etc, with the high Gigabit speed for enhanced flexibility.

The GP-101ET extension unit can be connected to any IEEE 802.3at/af terminal node such as access points, network cameras, Voice over IP (VoIP) phones and IP-based applications where the IEEE 802.3 at/af Power over Ethernet inline port is supported.

It allows the Ethernet cable to transmit both data and power for an additional 100 meters. This reduces the need to install cables and eliminates the need for extension cords or electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or any other hard-to-reach location. Lower overall installation costs and simplified management.
