PV150 makes it possible to carry out the electrical safety verification measurements required for a Photovoltaic system and the functional check of the modules or strings that are part of the system itself according to the provisions of CEI Guide 82-25 as a reference (CEI 64/8 and IEC/EN62446).

 

It automatically performs the following measurements:

  • Insulation measurement up to 1000VDC
  • No-load voltage and short-circuit current Voc/Isc up to 1000V / 15A
  • Continuity of protective conductors with 200mA

     

PV150 enables the verification of the functionality of strings of a PV array (IEC/EN62446) by measuring the open circuit voltage Voc and short circuit current Isc also referred to STD irradiance conditions using the SOLAR200 series accessory. It also allows the execution of photovoltaic (DC) field performance analysis under operating conditions via standard clamp ammeters providing an indication of the generated power of the 'PV system.

 

With the push of a single button, the new PV150 tester sequentially performs all measurements related to the safety of the PV system.

 

It performs Automatically Sequenced Measurements:

  • Continuity of protective conductors with 200mA
  • Voc Voltage at Vacuum up to 1000V DC
  • Isc Short Circuit Current up to 15A DC
  • Insulation test up to 1000V DC

     

The result can be saved and through the Software you can generate a report of your measurements. The diagram shows how to connect the cables from the Pv150 to the string under test so that all results can be obtained safely and AUTOMATICALLY.

 

Irradiance measurement:

  • The special wireless connectivity between the PV150 and the high-performance Solar Survey 200R meter allows irradiance to be displayed and measured in real time while electrical tests are being performed. This means that irradiance, tilt, and ambient temperature can be recorded simultaneously inside the PV150 while electrical tests are being performed
  • Survey 200R also allows it to be used as a Datalogger for irradiance measurement. Stored data can be downloaded into Solar Cert Software for further analysis and reporting

     

DC Power Measurement:

  • Using the standard ammeter clamp, the DC Power or operating current of strings can be measured.
  • The clamp has two scales 40A and 300A, and by connecting it to the PV150 you will be able to easily detect the Power and current generated on the display
