The precision ratchet-free pipe flaring tool produces smooth, uniform flares with minimal effort. The pipe flaring tool features a durable, eccentrically mounted hardened steel flaring cone that produces a rolling action for uniform metal flow.

It produces uniform flared walls without seizing. The handle friction is then released when the countersink is complete to stretch and smooth the countersink. The ratchet-less feed screw handle rotates easily and requires less movement and effort than a standard handle.

The handle clutch is released when the countersink is complete to iron and smooth the countersink. Features a durable flared cone made of hardened steel mounted eccentrically for even metal flow. The ratchet-less feed screw handle rotates easily and requires less movement and effort than a standard handle.

How to make a folder on a copper conditioning pipe using a collar tool:

  • Cut the pipe. The cut must be perfect and at 90 degrees, so we recommend using a professional cutting tool
  • Deburr the pipe, to avoid rifling the folder
  • Place the tube in the vise, allowing the tube to protrude a few millimeters
  • Rotate the folder lever until the clutch clicks
  • Turn the folder lever counterclockwise and release the flanged tube from the vise
