The MGSD-10080F supports redundant ring technology and features powerful and fast auto-recovery capability to prevent external disruptions and intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology , Spanning Tree protocol (802.1s MSTP) in the customer's network to improve system reliability and uptime in various environments.

 

To improve reliability and flexibility of operation, the MGSD-10080F is equipped with a 100~240V AC power supply unit and two additional 36~60V DC power input connectors for installation of redundant power supplies. Redundant power supply systems are specifically designed to handle the needs of high-tech facilities that require maximum power integrity. In addition, with the 36~ 60V DC power supply implemented, the MGSD-10080F can be applied as a telecommunications level device that could be placed in the electronics room.

 

The MGSD-10080F supports digital input and digital output on the front panel. The external alarm offers technicians the ability to use the digital input to detect and record the status of the external device (such as door intrusion detector) for alarm because the digital output can be used for alarm if the MGSD-10080F has an idle, connected, or power failure connection to the door.

 

To meet the ISP's requirement to quickly establish IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) network infrastructure, MGSD-10080F supports both IPv4 and IPv6 management functions. It can work with the original IPv4 network structure and also support the new IPv6 network structure.
