This media converter converts the 10/100Mbps 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet signal of a twisted-pair cable, to a 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet signal of a multi-mode fiber optic cable. The maximum coverage distance of the fiber optic cable is 2 km.
The media converter is equipped with an RJ45 connector for the copper twisted-pair cable and an SC connector for the fiber optic cable.
