The Edimax switch series greatly enhances IP surveillance network systems; it supports system settings, device detection and user authentication quickly and easily. Integrated backfeed protection/PoE detection feature keeps the PoE network secure and efficient.

 

With 24Gbps backplane bandwidth and a transfer rate of 17.8Mpps, GS-5210PLC offers the best available bandwidth without delay. The GS-5210PL has two firmware stored for backup. It can activate the backup firmware immediately while the current one has problems.

 

While normal Ethernet switches have a distance restriction of 100 meters, GS-5216PLC in long range mode offers extended power and data transfer distance up to 200 meters (656 feet) in full-duplex operation at 10Mbps on a port basis. It is ideal for long-distance applications such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points, and PoE-enabled IoT devices in remote locations.

 

In addition to web-based GUI for port-based power control, GS-5210PL includes an intuitive 4-digit display showing power consumption. System integrators can monitor total power budget, on-port power consumption, and remaining power. All thanks to a single hardware selection button.
