Notifier 2 Input 1 Output Module for M721E Analog Systems
Notifier Microprocessor Module 2 Inputs 1 Output for analog systems. Compatible with all Notifier analogue control panels.
The M-721E module monitors two inputs for supervisory devices and fire-fighting devices with normally open contacts. It also has a single-pole changeover contact for controlling auxiliary devices.

Three three-colour LEDs (green/red/yellow), one for each signal, will display the status of the module. By programming the control unit it will be possible to make them flash when the module is interrogated. The M-721E module occupies 3 consecutive signals on the loop, starting with the one programmed using the rotary switches. All 700 Series modules are equipped with an internal communication loop isolation device.
Advantages:
- NOTIFIER analog control panels automatically identify these devices.
- Addressing of the module (the first of 3) is achieved via two rotary switches (01-99)
- The module is powered directly from the 2-wire loop of the various NOTIFIER analogue control panels. No additional power supply is required
- Isolation module on the communication loop
- Wide viewing angle of the LEDs
- Built-in LEDs flash whenever a communication is received from the control unit, unless they are programmed not to flash
- High immunity against electromagnetic interference
- Easy connection thanks to the Plug-in terminals.
Applications:
- The two inputs of these modules can be used to control manual pushbuttons or devices with N.O. dry contact. The controlled circuit can be connected as NFPA Style B (Class B) with 47 K Ohm end-of-line resistor. The maximum line length of the input device circuits is 750m, with a maximum impedance of 20 Ohm. The module output can only be used in free contact configuration.
Built-in isolation module:
- All 700 series modules are equipped with a loop short circuit monitoring device and isolators. If necessary, you may not use the device by connecting directly with the positive loop output to terminal 5 instead of terminal 2.
Installation:
Thanks to its special mechanical design, the M-721E module allows:
- wall mounting, in a special plastic container: M200E-SMB
- Mounting on standard 35mm x 7.5mm DIN rail by means of plastic adapter M200E-DIN
- Panel mounting via plastic adapter M200E-PMB.
Operation:
- Each module uses three of the 99 available signals on a loop. It responds to periodic polling from the control panel and reports the type and status of connected devices to the control panel. The signal can be programmed before or after installation. The three LEDs have the function to indicate the status of each channel. Each LED can be programmed to flash green whenever the module is queried. LEDs A and B refer to the two input channels; LED C refers to the output channel.
Characteristics:
- Maximum cable section: 2.5 mm2
- Operating voltage: 15 ÷ 30 Vdc. (Communication loop) In order to guarantee the correct functioning of the LED it is necessary to guarantee 17,5 Vdc. (Communication loop)
- Standby current: 340?A (LED = No blink) 660?A (LED = blink)
- Supervisory current: 0.A OPEN, 100.A NORMAL, 200.A SHORT-CIRCUIT
- Relay contacts: 2 A at 30 Vdc resistive
- Inductive: 1 A at 30 Vdc (0,6 pF.)
- Operating temperature: - 20° C + 60° C
- Relative humidity: 5% - 95% non-condensing
- Dimensions: 93mm (H) 94mm (W) 23mm (D)
