The current OEC Srl, former "Officina Elettrotecnica Comense SpA" founded in 1922 and recently moved to Garbagnate Milanese, became part of the NTET Group in 1996. It manufactures products that find application in low voltage electricity distribution networks.

One of the first Italian companies to use glass-fibre reinforced polyester resins in the production of moulded electrical equipment and frames for electrical substations and energy distribution, OEC has seen its specialisation grow over the years, always placing product quality as a prerogative to a production that puts OEC in a position of relevance in the specific national context.
