UltraCut FBS II 6 P/LP is a line of galvanized steel and large-headed or convex-headed screws from fischer Italia. Certified for installations on cracked and non-cracked concrete with class C20/25 to C50/60 and prestressed concrete hollow core slabs (C30/37 to C50/60). It can also be used on C12/15 concrete, solid brick masonry, compacted natural stone, aerated self-claved concrete.
The screw is also certified for applications requiring a seismic performance level of Class C1. The 6mm UltraCut FBS are perfect for installation of rails, ventilation ducts, cable tray walkways, temporary anchors, wood battens in roofing, expansion joints and many other applications.
The UltraCut FFD 22x9x6 filler disc can be optionally combined with FBS II 6 P/LP, allowing shear loads to be maximized while avoiding the phenomena of pounding in the event of an earthquake. FBS II 6 P/LP + FFD maintains seismic performance category C1. The FFD disk should be placed between the plate and the UltraCut FBS II 6 P/LP screw. The flared side of the FFD disk should face the anchor plate. The thickness of the FFD disk should be added to the thickness of the plate to be anchored when calculating the actual insertion depth of the screw into the concrete.
Anchorage depths less than 40 mm are approved according to ETA 18/0242 and therefore only permitted within multiple fixings in nonstructural systems.
Assembly:
- UltraCut FBS II 6 P/LP are suitable for through-hole installation.
- Holes do not require any cleaning in case they are in the ceiling and/or floor (in the latter case, it is sufficient to extend the drilling by a length equal to 3 times the hole diameter)
- For optimal installation, the use of a suitable impact wrench with TORX TX30 insert suitable for the application of tangential pulses is recommended
- The screw is properly installed when the screw head rests on the object to be fastened (visual adjustment check)
- ETA certification allows the application to be adjusted 2 times by loosening the concrete screw (max 20mm) to insert a shim (max 10mm) and/or align the base plate
