Assembly:
- Preassemble the screw in the washer. Insert the screw a couple of turns into the seat of the FID 90 dowel.
- Screw onto the panel with a screwdriver with TX 25 impression. The shaped tip of the FID 90 dowel allows installation on thin plaster directly without a hole by exerting slight pressure when screwing
- The complete FID-V M8 fastener can be installed in the insulation board with an electric or hand screwdriver
- The special threaded spiral obtains its seat in the insulation panel
- Water ingress into the insulation can be prevented by sealing the collar of the fastener with a suitable sealant after non-pass-through installation
- Pre-drilling of 6 mm is recommended in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) with particularly thick plaster
