Water, regardless of its origin, contains foreign bodies such as grains of sand, rust flakes and other solid impurities, which penetrating into the hydraulic system are capable of damaging pipes, valves and fittings, blocking automatisms and triggering corrosion phenomena.
To avoid such problems, it is necessary to install, at the plant inlet, a safety desander filter in accordance with current standards. Cillit-MINI PROTECTOR AF safety filters are designed to filter water for human consumption and technological uses by removing foreign bodies such as rust particles, sand, chips, scale residues and succeeding in protecting hydraulic systems from malfunctions and corrosion caused by these impurities.
In particular, Cillit-MINI PROTECTOR AF series filters are installed for the protection of hydraulic circuits of water for potable use (cold and hot sanitary water), replenishment and feeding of heating systems, feeding of cooling systems, feeding of steam generators and adduction for process water.
Suitable for the filtration of water for drinking, technological and process use in compliance with the requirements of the "Minimum Requirements Decree" DMiSE 26.06.2015, Ministerial Decree 37/08 and Technical Standards UNI 9182 and UNI-CTI 8065. Appliance made with materials complying with D.M. 174/04 and in accordance with D.M. Salute 25/2012.
Appliance characteristics:
The water to be filtered, once introduced inside the header, passes through the filter element, from the outside to the inside, releasing particles with a diameter greater than 100 microns on its outer surface. The filtered water is then sent, purified, to the filter outlet. Periodically, the filter element must be simply pulled out and replaced or washed. Cillit-MINI PROTECTOR AF filters are made entirely of corrosion-resistant materials suitable for contact with water intended for human consumption. The header made of brass is complete with connecting ferrules and tangs. A food-grade, high-strength plastic cup is screwed to the head, in which the stainless steel filter element is housed. A tap for filter draining and bleeding is located at the bottom of the filter.
