Installation: The installation of the device must be done in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out by a qualified installer. The Cillit®-Top is installed on the cold water inlet pipe from the waterworks, or upstream of the hydraulic circuit to be protected.
Warnings: Protect the filter from frost, direct sunlight. Prevent oils, solvents, alcohol, acid detergents and high exhaling chemicals, as well as heat sources above 40°C from coming in contact with the unit. Water pressure in the mains must not exceed the maximum permissible pressure; if necessary, install a Cillit®-Luna pressure reducer. Cillit®-Top self-cleaning filters are made entirely of materials suitable for contact with water intended for human consumption. A special feature of Cillit®-Top filters is that during the washing phase, the impurities accumulated on the entire surface of the filter element are removed and thus expelled from the drain. The washing operation is carried out by turning the control knob; this also automatically opens the drain to remove the impurities that the central axis with the hollow vacuum removes over the entire surface of the filter element, cleaning it completely.
