BWT Italy Domosoft UKV-BIO 10 automatic volumetric cabinet softener, suitable for drinking water treatment. Its technology is based on ion exchange softening by which calcium and magnesium ions (ions of the constituent salts of hardness) are replaced with equivalent sodium ions.
Equipped with a self-disinfection system each time the resins are flushed.
The softened water reduces scale formation in pipes, on valves and faucets, improving work processes.

It is used for the elimination/reduction of hardness salts, which are responsible for the formation of lime deposits in water for sanitary and general household use.
"Softened" water, in addition to being the best solution for cooking food and personal hygiene, is particularly advantageous for household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, as it keeps them at their maximum efficiency with strong benefit to energy consumption and their average life.
Thanks to the softener, no more scaling in faucets and lime stains on shower stall glass, resulting in savings on cleaning products, which are also often responsible for deterioration of surfaces.
