DESCRIPTION:

The AT 40T attenuator consists of a control circuit with a 6-position (5 + off) switch plus a separate transformer and can be used in 100 V constant voltage systems to adjust the power of one or more speakers having line transformers and a total power not exceeding 40W. It features a relay (activated by a 24 VDC control) to make forced volume announcements at maximum volume or to insert a second 100V line (not subject to volume control), but it can also be configured to operate with 3-wire lines (to achieve maximum volume at the output without using the internal 24 VDC relay). The attenuator AT 40T can be installed on any fruit frame (for civil electrical installations) simply by drilling a false pole and screwing the module. Are provided 3 knobs, each of different color: white, silver, anthracite. If there is sufficient space, the transformer can be placed inside the electrical box where there is the control circuit with the tap changer.

  • It features a relay (activated by a 24 VDC control) to make announcements with the volume forced to maximum or to insert a second 100V line (not subject to volume control), but it can also be configured to operate with 3-wire lines.
  • When mounted inside standard 503 box it is possible to place the switching circuit and the transformer side by side. The hole for the tap changer results in one of the side inserts.
