The surge arrester is a tool that can be mounted inside the electrical panel, then upstream of the home system. Its use allows you to put in protection the electrical system on which it is installed.
The surge arrester will protect the entire system from surges, surges and peaks of electricity that may come from the manager of the power line, or from atmospheric phenomena such as lightning. These power anomalies can cause serious damage to devices connected to outlets.
