The Fantini Cosmi M29H40 diaphragm solenoid valve is designed to handle large flow rates of water, air, inert gases, and noncorrosive fluids. The normally open (NA) configuration and servo-driven design make it an ideal solution for industrial and professional applications such as autoclaves, air compressors, car washes and pressure washers:

  • 40 mm passage bore diameter

  • G 1-1/2 inch female connection

  • KV (flow rate in m³/h of water with pressure difference between upstream and downstream of 1 bar (1 bar = 100kPa) 30 m³/h

  • Closing time dp of 1 bar 3 seconds

  • Maximum differential pressure 10 bar

  • Minimum operating pressure 0.1 bar

  • Test pressure (DIN2401) PN 16 bar.

M29 valve bodies mount only the IM29 coil supplied separate from the valve body (IM29F - IM29M).

Installation

  • Female threaded connections from G 3/8 in. to G 2 in.

  • Valves can be installed in any position

Operation

  • Normally open 2-way design

  • Indirect servo-diaphragm-locked operation

  • Fluid under pressure upstream of the valve, passes freely under and over the diaphragm in the valve passage bore and pilot plug bore

  • When the coil is energized, the pilot plug closes and the pressurized fluid upstream of the valve enters above the diaphragm, which, pressed against the seat, blocks its passage

  • N.B. The minimum operating pressure between upstream and downstream must be 0.1 bar
