The Fantini Cosmi M29D13 diaphragm solenoid valve is designed for applications requiring the handling of moderate flow rates of water, air, inert gases, and noncorrosive fluids. With normally open (NA) configuration and compact design, it is ideal for autoclave systems, air compressors and technical applications in industrial environments:

  • 13 mm passage bore diameter

  • G 1/2 inch female connection

  • KV (flow rate in m³/h of water with pressure difference between upstream and downstream of 1 bar (1 bar = 100kPa) 3 m³/h

  • Closing time dp of 1 bar 1 second

  • Maximum differential pressure 20 bar

  • Minimum operating pressure 0.1 bar

  • Test pressure (DIN2401) PN 25 bar

M29 valve bodies mount only the IM29 coil supplied separate from the valve body (IM29F - IM29M).

Installation

Operation

  • Normally open 2-way design

  • Indirect servo-diaphragm-locked operation

  • Fluid under pressure upstream of the valve, passes freely under and over the diaphragm in the valve passage bore and pilot plug bore

  • When the coil is energized, the pilot plug closes and the pressurized fluid upstream of the valve enters above the diaphragm, which, pressed against the seat, blocks its passage

  • N.B. The minimum operating pressure between upstream and downstream must be 0.1 bar
