The 3000/453 is an unmanaged switch with 16 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and 2 1000M SFP ports. All ports are adaptive, and no device configuration is required for operation; power is sufficient. Each port has an LED indicator for network connection and supports QoS function.
Using a low-power microchip, the device under full load draws only 2.5W. Estato designed to be able to protect its circuit from electrostatic discharge.
If the VLAN dip-switch on the 3000/453 is ON then the 3000/453 switch does not do packet routing between the PoE ports so as to speed up routing to and from the Uplink ports; in this case an NVR needs to be connected only to the Uplink ports in order to see the cameras connected on the PoE ports.
