Overview:
The DC600/BR mini magnetic contact controls the opening/closing of specific devices (e.g., a door or window). The contact is fixed on the door or window frame, while the actuating magnet is to be fixed on the door or window itself. When the door or window is opened, the magnet moves away from the contact, triggering the internal magnetic switch and activating the transmission of an alarm signal to the control panel. The device also has the ability to send information regarding anomalies and low battery warning
The contact consists of a cover and a base. The cover contains all the electronic components, while the base is used to install the device. An internal tamper switch provides protection against unauthorized attempts to open or remove the device.
Accessories included:
- 1 Magnet
- 2 Screws
- 2 Dowels
- 1 Double-sided adhesive tape for magnet
- 2 Magnet mounting screws
- 2 Spacers for magnet
Supervision:
- In normal operation, the contact transmits a supervision signal to the control panel at intervals of 30 to 50 minutes
- If the supervision test in the control panel has been activated and the control panel does not receive the signal from the contact within a set time, the control panel will generate a supervision alarm.
Tamper switch:
- Protects against attempts to remove or open the enclosure. When the tamper is open, the contact sends an alarm signal to the central unit and the LED lights up
Battery:
- The contact is powered by a CR2 3 V lithium battery and can signal when the battery is low. When the battery is low, the device sends a signal to the control panel along with the normal transmission. The LED lights up when the contact is in low battery alarm. When the battery is fully discharged, the contact no longer signals alarms and the LED flashes every 4 seconds
Test Mode:
- The contact can be set in Test mode for 3 minutes by pressing the Test button on the front cover once. In Test mode, the LED lights up whenever the contact is activated. Whenever the Test button is pressed, the contact will send a signal to the control panel for a radio range test and re-activate the Test mode again for 3 minutes. Test mode will automatically end after 3 minutes and return to normal operation mode
